CBS will be airing a special celebrating adoption, with the fifth annual A Home For The Holidays. Continuing with tradition, the special will tell of moving stories about adoption, in the hopes of raising awareness of not only the important social issue of adoption, but to raise awareness of the more than half-a-million children whom are currently waiting in foster care for their forever families. Stars such as Jamie Foxx, and Rene Russo will be among many who will be presenting uplifting and inspirational stories about adoption.

Musical stars will be present as well. Celebrities such as No Doubt, Sheryl Crow, Enrique Iglesias, and Amy Grant will be among many others, including the hit rock group, Train to perform.

Together the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, as well as the Children’s Action Network have put together a wonderful, heartwarming, and uplifting event in the hopes of bringing the many children in foster care truly home, a forever home, for the holidays.
