A six year old boy from Anne Arundel County was discovered to be missing when his mother, who has legal custody of the boy, went to retrieve him from a scheduled visit with his father. She arrived at the home of David Kistler Jackson, the non-custodial father of the child, only to find the residence had been vacated, and there was no sign of her ex-husband, nor her little boy, Collin. Police are asking for help from the public in locating six year old Colin Jackson, and returning him safely to his mother.

An arrest warrant has been issued for David Kistler Jackson on the charge of non-custodial abduction, and police believe that he may be heading to Tennessee with his son. The two are believed to be traveling in a 1992, red Chevrolet Blazer, Maryland registration A184479. They may be towing a white trailer behind them, which is also registered in Maryland as 852347G.

The father of the boy, David Jackson, is described as being a caucasian male, 46 years old and approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, 145 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. David Jackson does wear glasses, but does not need to wear them all the time.

The child, Collin Jackson, is described as caucasian, roughly 3 feet 9 inches tall, and weighing in at about 45 pounds. Collin has sandy blonde hair with brown eyes.

If anyone has any information about the location of Collin Jackson, or his father, they are urged to call 911 or can contact Anne Arundel County Police at 410-222-8610.

This is another prime example of what not to do in a custody situation. Never take the law into your own hands. If you are unhappy with your custody situation, GO TO COURT! Parental kidnapping is NEVER the answer.

Please let me know what the percentage is for a father having any chance of getting their child is in court. Please be realistic. I know the man will go to jail for a felony but it doesn't change the fact that the court system is biased for the mother.
