Deadbeats are Caught, Ozzy is Angry

In Fargo North Dakota, a plan has been brewing. Sheriff Paul D. Laney along with his team devised an elaborate sting operation, which included the unauthorized use of Rock Star Ozzy Osborne's name. It seems as though the team of tricky officers sent out invitations to 40 local rock fans asking them to join Ozzy, along with his touring partner Rob Zombie for a cocktail or two before Monday's performance.

Only there were no drinks, and there were no rock stars waiting for these 40 individuals, whom arrived with invitations in hand. You see they were selected for this special party because they were all on the states wanted list for failure to pay their court ordered child support, and when they arrived for their cocktails with the super stars, they were met instead by police officers who handcuffed and arrested them.

After their successful sting operation, the police have spent a good bit of time giving themselves generous pat on the back after generous pat of the back. Yet there is someone who isn't so cheery about the whole thing. Ozzy Osborne is quite upset that his name was used in connection with the sting operation.

Apparently feeling quite insulted that his fans were targeted as criminals, Osborne let his feelings be known. Sure Ozzy could have just let it go, and turned the other cheek, and perhaps for a time that is what he thought what he would do. However, once he learned of the congratulatory press conference that the police held for themselves, that is when he became "particularly annoyed" and most likely when thoughts of turning the other cheek began to fade away.

While Ozzy may be a bit grumping over his name being used, he along with everyone else should be happy about the deadbeats who were caught and will now have to face the consequences for failure to pay their court ordered child support, as well as make plans to get caught up on their debt. Sorry Ozzy, but there was more good than harm that came out of this one, it is time to suck it up and turn the other cheek while letting it go.
