In Fargo North Dakota, a plan has been brewing. Sheriff Paul D. Laney along with his team devised an elaborate sting operation, which included the unauthorized use of Rock Star Ozzy Osborne's name. It seems as though the team of tricky officers sent out invitations to 40 local rock fans asking them to join Ozzy, along with his touring partner Rob Zombie for a cocktail or two before Monday's performance.

Only there were no drinks, and there were no rock stars waiting for these 40 individuals, whom arrived with invitations in hand. You see... more

When progress reports came out half way through the school marking period, my adopted stepson was not doing so hot in Latin II, in fact he was pretty close to failing the class, and we were not too happy about it. While we understand that Latin is a very hard language to learn, and the second year of Latin is even harder since the entire text book is written in Latin with no English in it whatsoever, he was not having difficulty learning the language due to a lack of skill,... more

After our first two attempts were thwarted by rain, we finally got the opportunity to go out to the pumpkin patch this weekend and spend some time together as a family picking out the pumpkins that we are going to carve up for Halloween. Halloween is the kick off to the holiday season for our family, so going out and getting our pumpkins is always quite exciting for the entire family.

We had decided to go to the mall on Saturday, to get some clothes for our family cruise, and get our pumpkins the following day. Living where we do, there are a ton of farms in the area, most of which not only... more
