Just weeks after the state decided to call off, and altogether ditch the decade old deadbeat roundup, where parents who are behind in their child support are arrested in front of camera men, for all of Ohio to see, deadbeat parents are making noise about unfair treatment.

Custody Dispute Leads To Gunfire

A 44 year old man from Tyler, Texas fired several shots at his ex-wife with a handgun of currently unknown caliber, on Monday afternoon. The two had met each other to exchange custody of the children, meaning that while daddy was firing shots at mommy, they were somewhere nearby...lovely.

Thankfully no one was hurt during the incident, and the man fled the scene before police had a chance to arrive. Officers, however, were quickly able to locate the man, at his residence. A Maryland blended family whom has been looking forward to completing a stepparent adoption to legally make nine year old Cheyanne, the daughter of Timothy Webber. It is pretty well known at this point that singer Britney Spears, and ex-husband Kevin Federline have been fighting over custody and visitation of their two boys for quite some time now. Despite her wild behavior in pubic, Britney has been fighting for custody of her two boys, after a judge ordered that the boys be removed from her care, and primary custody be given to their father.

Hennepin County, in Minnesota is facing a budget crisis, a projected 1.4 million dollar deficit for the fiscal year, which ends in June. In an effort to make up for that loss, certain services will be cut, as well as a hiring freeze which starts immediately. In Fargo North Dakota, a plan has been brewing. Sheriff Paul D. Laney along with his team devised an elaborate sting operation, which included the unauthorized use of Rock Star Ozzy Osborne's name. It seems as though the team of tricky officers sent out invitations to 40 local rock fans asking them to join Ozzy, along with his touring partner Rob Zombie for a cocktail or two before Monday's performance.

Should Suspected Sexual Abusers Still Have Visitation Rights?

This morning I read a story in the news that has made me sick to my stomach. It is the story of a mother's fight to protect her children from the man that she believes is sexually abusing her youngest son. The suspected abuser is not a stranger, but the paternal grandfather of the youngest child, a six year old boy.
