A 44 year old man from Tyler, Texas fired several shots at his ex-wife with a handgun of currently unknown caliber, on Monday afternoon. The two had met each other to exchange custody of the children, meaning that while daddy was firing shots at mommy, they were somewhere nearby...lovely.

Thankfully no one was hurt during the incident, and the man fled the scene before police had a chance to arrive. Officers, however, were quickly able to locate the man, at his residence. Hennepin County, in Minnesota is facing a budget crisis, a projected 1.4 million dollar deficit for the fiscal year, which ends in June. In Fargo North Dakota, a plan has been brewing. Sheriff Paul D. Laney along with his team devised an elaborate sting operation, which included the unauthorized use of Rock Star Ozzy Osborne's name. It seems as though the team of tricky officers sent out invitations to 40 local rock fans asking them to join Ozzy, along with his touring partner Rob Zombie for a cocktail or two before Monday's performance.

This morning I read a story in the news that has made me sick to my stomach. It is the story of a mother's fight to protect her children from the man that she believes is sexually abusing her youngest son. The suspected abuser is not a stranger, but the paternal grandfather of the youngest child, a six year old boy.
